Description
A wonderful and very showy amethyst quartz specimen from Greece. It almost seems as though this crystal chose to stand apart from the rest of the quartz vein material, perching itself atop a smoky quartz block simply to stand out. The locality is considered classic and is known for having produced some of the finest examples of this mineral species found in the country. Field-collected in October 2022.
