Description
A superb, lustrous, gemmy epidote from the skarn zones of Xanthi, the locality known for producing some of the finest specimens of the species in Greece. When backlit, its gemminess is enhanced, and rotation reveals subtle pleochroism. Field-collected in June 2017.
