Description
An intriguing specimen of light-brown diopside combined with multicolored vesuvianite from the Jeffrey mine. What sets this piece apart is the unusual tabular habit of the diopside. Both the flattened diopside crystals and the vesuvianite are gemmy and exhibit spectacular luster. The vesuvianite ranges in color from yellowish-green to emerald-green, with some areas showing a vibrant mauve. A superb specimen from a classic locality.
