Description
A specimen of soft-pink botryoidal rhodochrosite, decorated with cream-colored icicles of calcite. The piece comes from the Olympiada mine, and minor sulfides are visible at the base of the specimen. Under longwave ultraviolet light (395 nm), the calcite fluoresces a bright pink with a hint of phosphorescence.
