Description
A smithsonite specimen from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia. The piece features an uncommon assemblage of prismatic crystals in parallel growth. Several crystals display sharp, well-preserved terminations, while a few show minor tip loss that does little to detract from the specimen’s presentation. The combination of unusual morphology, excellent translucency, and bright vitreous lustre makes this an especially appealing example of Tsumeb smithsonite.
