Description
A specimen of aquamarine beryl from the Erongo mountains in Namibia. This piece features a stubby prismatic hexagonal aquamarine crystal with a very subtle bluish hue and a fine vitreous lustre. The crystal becomes increasingly transparent toward the top termination, where it displays excellent clarity.
