Description
A specimen of native copper from Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan. Much of the specimen remains coated in its original oxidation patina, revealing the natural colors and character of the mineral. A small piece of matrix is still preserved among the copper crystals, offering a tangible remnant of the host rock and, on a miniature scale, the surrounding geological formation from which this specimen originated.
