Description
A specimen of galena and quartz from the Krushev Dol mine of the Madan mining district, Bulgaria. This piece features hundreds of small, long-prismatic quartz crystals interspersed with clusters of galena crystals. The galena displays spectacular growth formations while some of the quartz crystals have chlorite inclusions. Overall, this is a spectacular example from this important Bulgarian mining district.
