Description
A specimen of azurite and malachite from the Christiana mine in the Lavrio mining district of Greece. The piece features a matrix of massive brown calcite, one side of which is covered by a carpet of small azurite crystals. The deep blue of the azurite is complemented by patches of green malachite, creating a striking and pleasing visual contrast.
