Description
A dominant pyrite octahedron with interesting crystallographic features to be studied! As a bonus, an accessory unidentified white clayey mineral can be found attached at the base of the specimen. It exhibits no reactivity to hydrochloric acid, thereby excluding calcite as a plausible identification. The miner of the specimen has posited it as crandallite although this assertion must be treated with care as no definite analysis has been undertaken to the extent of our knowledge.
