Description
A lovely specimen featuring multiple pinkish-red ruby corundum crystals neatly nestled within the characteristic green pargasitic matrix of this Greek locality. Closer inspection under magnification reveals a few spots containing minor bluish kyanite. The rubies fluoresce a vibrant red under longwave ultraviolet light. Found in spring 2023.
