Description
A very aesthetic combination specimen of schorl, quartz, and muscovite. The quartz crystal has grown around the schorl, engulfing and “hugging” it, effectively trapping the tourmaline within. At the base of the cluster, a thick book of muscovite mica is attached, along with an additional protruding quartz crystal that appears as a bent continuation of the main crystal, creating a striking pseudo–doubly terminated effect. A unique specimen from the Stak Nala valley in Pakistan.
