Description
A specimen of amethyst quartz and dolomite from the Goboboseb mountains in Namibia. The amethyst crystals exhibit a delicate light purple hue with excellent terminations, complemented by clusters of cream-white dolomite crystals. Both mineral species have formed over a piece of volcanic rock. Under magnification, tiny red hematite inclusions can be spotted trapped inside the amethyst crystals. A specimen of great balance and aesthetics.
