Description
A sanidine specimen from the Kakourou mountain in Almopia, Greece. This a Carlsbad-twinned piece from the Greek locality that is known to produce some of the finest examples in the country. Of particular note is its impressive size, with the crystal reaching 5 cm. Field-collected in Jan 2024.
