Description
A specimen of galena from the Borieva mine in the Madan mining district of Bulgaria. This piece displays an interesting dual character: the lower half consists of highly lustrous cleavage surfaces, while the upper half is composed of well-formed euhedral galena crystals. A part of the specimen is covered by minor, bright brass-yellow chalcopyrite which adds a nice aesthetic touch to the specimen.
