Description
A specimen featuring dark-blue azurite crystal blades beautifully sprinkled atop beige-colored dolomite crystals. It comes from the Schmitt dolomite quarry near Altenmittlau—a locality renowned for producing some of the finest German azurite specimens. The quarry has been abandoned since 1999 and later backfilled, making new finds from this site highly unlikely.
