Description
An elongated, gemmy, transparent spodumene crystal from the Brazilian locality of Urucum, Minas Gerais. It exhibits excellent vitreous lustre and displays very interesting natural hydrothermal etching patterns on its surfaces. At the open base of the crystal, an unidentified light-orange transparent inclusion can be observed, adding an extra element of visual and mineralogical interest.
