Description
A specimen of adamite from the Hilarion mine in Lavrio, Greece. The piece features a small cavity within a white carbonate matrix, lined with delicate drusy blue adamite crystals. Two elegant calcite tufts are perched atop the adamite, adding a pleasing contrast to the cavity. The rear of the specimen is also covered with adamite, though the crystals are smaller and exhibit a distinctive bluish-green color. A beautiful example of adamite from this historic and renowned mineral locality.
