Description
A specimen of grossular and calcite from Maroneia, Greece. This piece comes from a 2023 discovery that produced an attractive association of these two mineral species in an unusual color combination. The greenish yellow grossular displays some well developed faces which are nicely contrasting against the calcite’s light bluish hue.
