Description
A specimen of adamite and smithsonite from the Lavrio mining district in Greece. Though modest in size, this is an attractive piece featuring a tiny blue-green aggregate of adamite crystals perched like a cherry atop a carpet of orangey-brown smithsonite. The adamite displays excellent lustre and sharp, well-defined terminations, best appreciated under magnification and is ideal for macrophotography.
