Description
A specimen of andradite from the skarn zones nearby the village of Kimmeria in Xanthi, Greece. This piece features several tightly intergrown garnet dodecahedra with a sparkling lustre and attractive yellow coloration, ranging from deeper golden tones to lighter hues. A small black tuft of manganese oxides is delicately perched on the andradite crystals, providing an appealing contrast and adding further visual interest to the specimen.
