Description
A specimen of quartz and epidote from the skarn zones nearby the city of Xanthi in Greece. This combo piece is a great and characteristic example of the two main mineral species that draw collectors’ attention to this locality which later became renowned for producing some of the finest epidote specimens in Greece. Field-collected in June 2017.
